Virginia Beach Department of Human Services provides Safety Turtle to its foster children

The Virginia Beach Department of Human Services today purchased 50 Safety Turtle child immersion alarms with 100 wristbands to increase the safety of children in its foster care. “Many of our foster parents live near ponds or lakes and of course this is a pool and beach community. We want to take every possible measure to reduce the risk of a water accident. In our opinion this is a sound investment.” Cheryl Williams, Virginia Beach Department of Human Services.
