Feb 2001 - "I'm from Mississauga down the road from you folks.  I'm looking for a 'dog-overboard' device for my sailboat and was wondering if your turtle might work.  I figure that I can pin the turtle on my dog's lifejacket and keep the receiver in the cockpit."

Mar 2001 - I'd like to get 3 blue turtles, 1 for my dog and 2 for the children, the battery pack, and the cigarette lighter adaptor. Again, I won't have the boat in the water until mid-may ...I can send you pictures of the turtle on Aiko (my dog) now but the pictures of the base on the boat will have to wait until I launch."

May 2001-  "Just for your information, I actually got it more for around the docks...it is more likely for a dog or child to go overboard and not be noticed while you are docked and stowing gear, having a drink, talking to the neighbors etc.

(There was actually a case of a little girl falling overboard while docked a couple years ago...she was only about 15 feet away from her parents but, because a sailboat is fairly high in the water, they didn't hear her and she drowned...If they'd had the safety turtle, I'm sure it would have saved her. It was after reading that story that I started looking for an affordable device like yours)."

June 2001 -  “I hope you'll forgive my ramblings but I was just at PetSmart to get Aiko groomed and the girls there were asking me about the turtle on his collar.  I explained what it was and they all thought it was a great idea. I think you have a neat product and I'd like to see people benefit from it.
