Technical Specifications

  • To preserve sensor battery life, there is no supervisory health monitoring of sensors by the Base Station. Testing is initiated by the user.
  • One button and two LEDs control and indicate status of a Base Station.
  • A Base Station set to “ACTIVE” alarms @ 110 decibels until acknowledged or 30 minutes.
  • A Base Station set to “TEST” slow beeps if the activated sensor battery is healthy and is mute if the activated sensor battery is low.
  • Volume is adjustable in “TEST” but not in “ACTIVE”.
  • Rapid beeping occurs when a Base Station detects “FAULT”. The cause of the fault is indicated by its LEDs.
  • The average time between false alarms, i..e, without sensor activation, exceeds one year.
