Using Safety Turtle as Flood Alarm

The Turtle offers an effective retrofit option to alert of indoor flooding, e.g., due to sump pump malfunction or power failure, burst plumbing, drainage blocking, and even pool/spa overflow.

The arms of the Turtle provide a flexible means of securing it wherever needed. The Velcro Adaptor attaches to a small diameter strut or mating velcro. Or it can be tethered and lowered as illustrated.

The Integrator model B102E of Base Station provides for connection to a home alarm system which in turn can autodial an alarm condition. The Turtle Power accessory provides alarm capability through 9 hours of AC power outage.
